Police officers in the Halton Region will now be equipped with more tech to track distracted driving.
Halton Regional Police have begun to deploy side-camera technology on their police vehicles.
The new technology will hopefully track more drivers on the road who may be distracted while driving.
Halton Police say that since January, over 1000 distracted driving charges have been laid in the Region.
They call the act a top threat to road safety.
