The Oakville & Milton Humane Society provides support for animals in need.
They help with adoption, lost and found, protecting local wildlife, and helping any animals that are injured or neglected.
Executive Director, Rick Perciante, talks about the volunteers at the Humane Society.

The Oakville & Milton Humane Society is what is considered a low-kill shelter.
Perciante says there are very rare cases where an animal is put down and they usually involve serious diseases.
He also adds the shelter also offers lots of kid programs.
