Putting food in the bellies of local children.
That’s what make Food4Kids Halton so special and why they are the myFM Community Partner Program Recipient, presented by Gordon Food Service, for August, 2019.
Executive Director Gayle Kabbash says the goal is to make sure no kid in goes hungry.
Kabbash adds that Food4Kids Halton couldn’t do the work without their many volunteers.
She says from the drivers to the food packers, they’re all vital to the operation.
Finally, she says her favourite part of the job is helping the people.
There is also a food drive coming up!
Join myFm, Gallinger Ford Lincoln and Milton’s brand new OJHL team, Milton Menace, on Thursday, August 15th from 11am – 7pm at John’s No Frills, located at 6520 Derry Rd W for our Food Drive benefiting Food4Kids Halton.
Food4kids Halton has requested non-perishable food items, including large soup cans, Uncle Ben’s Fast & Fancy rice packets, and any nut free granola bars, as well as grocery store gift cards!
