The Townsend Smith Foundation are holding a Charity Golf Tournament next week (Monday, July 29th).
The proceeds from the tournament will go towards helping bring a hospice to North Halton.
Director of Development for the Townsend Smith Foundation, Kate Holmes, says there are still spots open.
A few weeks ago, the Townsend Smith received permission from Milton Town Council to proceed with looking into converting Chris Hadfield Park into their future palliative care home.
Holmes says the land is great because it’s central to all of the communities they would be serving.
Holmes, talks about what the money will go towards.
The Townsend Smith Foundation Charity Golf Tournament is on Monday, July 29th, at Granite Ridge Golf Club.
