
Milton’s Town Council is meeting this evening and here’s what we’re going to be paying attention to for the week.
There will be two delegations tonight. Regional Councillor Mike Cluett’s is putting forward a motion to ask the Minister of Children, Community and Social Services to provide better funding and services to families who are affected by autism.
And Town Councillor Kristina Tesser Derksen’s motion to declare a state of emergency regarding climate change.
We will also be tuning into Town Councillor Sameera Ali’s motion for a road safety campaign that’s focused on eliminating speeding in our neighbourhoods.
Other topics include the legislative update regarding bill 108 , the More Homes, More Choice Act, 2019.
