The Milton Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is a couple of months away but the fundraising starts early.
This past week some of the inductees were on hand at the Milton Hall of Fame Sports Camp to volunteer their time with the campers.
One of the inductees is Janet Campbell, a former gymnast.
She says that getting out and helping in the camp was a lot of fun.
Some of the other inductees that were on hand at the camp included Neal Teague.
According to Greg Ollerenshaw, a Board Member of the Sports Hall of Fame, it’s a great way to raise funds.
In November the Hall will recognize the top female athletes and top male athletes at the Hall’s annual induction ceremony.
The newest members include;
Darren Haydar – Athlete – Ice Hockey
Jim Ridley – Builder – Baseball
Leon Stickle – Builder – Ice Hockey
Janet Campbell – Builder – Gymnastics
Neil Teague – Athlete – Softball
