Halton Region has awarded a tender for the Forcemain Installation Crossing at Sixteen Mile Creek.
The project includes the construction of a 600 mm force main crossing to connect the newly constructed Fulton Street Wastewater Pumping Station.
Five bids were received and the region was forced to increase the budget of the project by $850,000.
The total cost of the project is now $4.5 million.
Construction of the project is expected to be completed by April 2020.
