The Milton District Hospital Foundation is once again teaming up with Shoppers Drug Mart for the Run for Women.
It’ll be the second ever virtual Run for Women with thousands of runners taking part across Canada.
The Major Gifts and Community Engagement Officer with the MDHF, Vanessa Briguglio, says last year was a smash hit.
Last year was the first year that Milton was involved in this run, as it is a regular event for Halton Healthcare in Oakville.
Registration is $40, with 100% of it going towards Halton Healthcare mental health programs.
Briguglio adds that participants will also get a swag bag, along with the chance to win a grand prize.

You can register yourself as a captain for your own Milton team where you can send out messages to your friends to join you in your goal to raise funds. However, the MDHF is not shy in who they let into their team. You can join the Foundation’s team, ‘May The Funds Be With You’, by searching for them on the event’s website when signing up.
